Birmingham大学へのお問い合わせをしたので、記録のため文面を残しておきます。
選択式の入力フォームに、自由記述というフォーマットだったので、
"Dear Sir or Madam,"だったり、「貴校に入りたいです！」といったアピールは不要かもしれませんが、無くて無礼になるなら、入れておこうと思い、挿入しました。
以下、optional moduleの詳細について問い合わせました：

This is to request more information about the optional modules.
I am extremely interested in this course and I am anxious to apply for it in your renowned university for the academic year 2019/2020.
Although I've already read all of the module explanations, I'd like to confirm the following two items about the optional modules:
According to the optional module information, it says "It is strongly recommended that you take the Education Observation, Evaluation and Supervision module".
Then I'd like to confirm if my understanding is right:
I had better taking the above module, and I can take the other modules e.g. "Curriculum and Approaches for Pupils with Autism" additionally.
Is my understanding right?
Second, it is about the module "Curriculum and Approaches for Pupils with Autism".
I'm very much interested in this module but I'm not a practitioner or parent with children with the autism.
Is the following module details of "practitioners who have completed ..." compulsory requirement?
In other words, can I take this module?
"It is intended for practitioners who have completed the first module in autism 'Special Educational Needs of Children with Autism' and who are practitioners or parents (eg teachers, psychologists, speech and language therapists, social workers, occupational therapists or nurses), working with children with on the autism spectrum, in whatever setting."
